(Sr.) Information Security & Governance Specialist / Data & Security Governance Manager(f/m/d)

Your mission
  • Develop, implement, manage and maintain the organisation’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO 27001, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Manage und support the organisation’s compliance with GDPR, ensuring that policies, procedures and controls are in place to protect personal data
  • Conduct regular risk assessments
  • Develop and deliver regular training programmes to employees on Information Security and Data Governance
  • Travel to and protocol the status at individual Hub locations (e.g. Hamburg, Frankfurt, etc.)
  • Work closely with the management
Your profile
  • German and English language proficiency minimum at B2 required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Information Security Management and GDPR compliance, including preparation of ISO 27001 audits and certifications
  • Knowledge of relevant regulation (IT-SiG 2.0, BSI-KritisV, NIS2, RCE)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective training programmes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the management and (non-technical) co-workers  in a remote-first environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10% - 20%)
  • Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt preferred, remote also possible
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries desirable but not required
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or GIAC are desirable but not required
